New Horizon Center Welcomes Three New Staff Members

New Horizon Center hired three new staff members for the 2021-2022 school year. Greg Walker will be teaching Middle School English and Geography, Jennifer Contreras is the new Physical Education, Health and Strength teacher for the high school, and Holly Lacey will be working with students primarily enrolled in the Youth Development Center. Take a minute and get to know our new staff!

My name is Greg Walker and I teach middle school English and Geography at Kinport. I’m married to Jenny, who works in the office. I’ve lived all over the place (Utah, California, Oregon, Japan, The Philippines, Spain) but moved back to Pocatello a couple years ago to get my Master’s in teaching from ISU. My hobbies include disc golf, listening to music and cooking. I’m excited to be here at Kinport!!

My name is Holly Lacey and I've been in education as a counselor for the last 11 years. I'm excited to work with the learners at New Horizon and the YDC program this school year. Outside of work, I love to boat and coach youth sports. I'm an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
